Carl Sagan, in one of his his presentation's
  on Carl Sagan's COSMOS, about 10 years
  ago before his death, talked about
  hunters, floaters and eaters as the
  components of different planets and stars
  that self-generate and self-destruct. He
  wondered whether there was other life out
  there somewhere in the universe that
  could be comparable or more sophisticated
  than ours. Sagan, however, didn't forget
  that life anywhere is built on complex
  CARBON molecules. This, definitely, is true.

So, can hunters, floaters and eaters be defined relative to CARBON?... and if so, how?

Since no astrophysicist, astronomer or any other scientist has been able to provide any facts about these theories, they are speculative, philosophical and only worth reading in books like Harry Potter and sci-fi movies. They were not meant for scientific thinking.

     The fact of the universe is that the Universes, both Cosmogonic
     (Dark Universe) and Cosmologic (Stars... physical universe), have
     one fundamental design... and that is TIME.  
      
     Time, according to Isaac Newton, in the Theory of Simultaneity,
     states... 

     "Absolute, true, and mathematical time, or itself, and from its
      own nature, flows equitably without relation to anything
      external." 

     This defines energy.

TIME is Energy... PURE ENERGY... because Pure Energy is here, there, everywhere... and it's MA'AThematical because it produces forces that create MA'AThematical effects or outcomes. Hence, the hunters, floaters and eaters that Carl Sagan speculates are merely momentary presences wherever they occur because of force permutations that create these MA'AThematical effects.

Existence occurs because there's Time and because there's Pure Energy! Time creates physical space through the transformation of Waves, which have harmonic frequencies, to flux... to mass... and eventually to matter.  This process gives us a sense of the facts that also dwell in each human, which are: Universe... Time... and Mind.

You are a whole Universe... and so am I... because we have all the components of CARBON... just as all the stars do in their core. And we have all the components of TIME... because we are subjected to harmonic frequencies that regulate our heart and lung rhythms... just as all the stars have their pulsations... revolutions... and rotations that keep them producing light.

The lights that we produce... to testify our comparative existence as the stars... come from our MINDS. Our Minds are as Dark as the DARK UNIVERSE... and when our Minds generate certain harmonic frequencies... these harmonic waves create: flux in our memories... then mass... and then matter that emits as the light that give us evidence of our creativity!

For those of us who have no idea about how this very complex MA'AThematical Time simultaneity... according to Newton... happens, we will never understand how simple existence happens within our own Universes ... let alone the complex universes of the stars and the cosmos.
